![]() Follow the cabling that comes out of the console underground and watch where it goes: you'll see it goes up high, but in the same direction as the cable you'll see another console. To get the glyph, pop open your scanner and look at the console. You can't complete the puzzle, however, since you're missing some of the glyphs. ![]() When you do it'll toss up a puzzle screen: it's immediately clear that this one isn't as simple as waving a hand and activating it as with the last. The first thing you'll need to do is attempt to decrypt the Remnant Monolith sitting in the middle of this area. Reactivating the second Remnant Monolith and solving its glyph puzzle When you're done, you'll be faced with a console and another little puzzle. When you reach the next monolith you'll have to fight to clear it of enemies - easy enough, just remember to take cover as needed and don't forget to spend your skill points from levelling up to enhance your powers. Unfortunately you'll also find yourself butting up against the radiation a lot don't worry about it, it goes away later. We're going to focus on the main quest here, and while in the last part of this guide we did tell you to mostly stay in the Nomad and make your way very specifically from story point to story point it might be worth hopping out if you pass anything of interest along the way - you might find some Remnant robots to fight, or some Kett, and many of these places also hold containers that have loot for you to grab. These lasers converge on one point that seems to lead to a whole lot of nothing right now, but you can trace the lasers back to the monoliths you need to find if you want to track them down in a more organic way. If you look at your map you'll have waypoints to guide you to the next monolith, which is handy, but it's worth noting that each of the monoliths also fires a bright white laser across the sky of the planet. The console just inside the door will shut down the purification field.It's time for some alien sudoku, some fighting, and a bad-ass Krogan.Shoot the remnant bots as you have to, but you can also ignore them - your goal is to get out, not clear the bad guys. Just retrace your steps across the room and back toward the gravity well, hopping across pillars as you go. Escape the purification field and exit the vault.Hit one of the safe zone force fields to recharge as you deal with the remnant bots. Use the pillars to continue into the room toward your HUD marker.Take out the remnant bots you meet there. Just across the pillars to the platform on the right side of the room. Leave the first console you come to alone (the active beam should be pointed off to your right).Just come back here to where you started to meet back up with us. We’re going to focus on the critical path, but feel free to explore the left side of the room. There are two directions you can go when you enter this room - to the left for a couple containers and some things to scan for research points, or to the right to the console that controls this vault.The next room is a problem because it’s cold - you’re going to have to solve the puzzles while keeping yourself warm (meaning you have to periodically use the force field bubbles to recharge your life support).Then, head to the back of the room on top of the balcony to get the door open. At the bottom, walk straight forward to turn on the power. ![]() Head inside, and take the gravity well down. The vault will poke out of the ice when you get close.
